i am just starting out with network admin, and for learning purposes i have been trying to install windows 2000 server (msdn disc 2427.1 - current subscription) on a virtual machine & virtual hard disc with ntfs, but installation keeps hanging.

I just loaded Windows 2000 Exec Server only to find my VGA limited to 16bit of color? Am I missing a Dell Trinitron driver, etc or is Server addition ltd to 16bit of color?

I urgently need to purchase and configure 5 PCs with Windows NT 4.0 OS. PCs must have at least one ISA slot for an old ISA board. The driver of this board only works with NT 4.0 (that's why I can't use 2000 or XP).
