My thought (although insane) is to Norton Ghost my NT4 PDC onto an upgraded sys.  Then upgrade to SV2003.  Any comments?

I am adding a new server running Server 2003 to my
domain.  I want to demote my current NT server to a BDC
so I can use the active directory services available with
2003 and eventually remove the NT server from my domain.  

Anyone know how to create an NT4 server CD that is updated
with Service Pack 6.a?

How long would it take to uninstall Windows NT 4.0, then
install Windows XP?  Are there instructions in the MS
Knowledge Database or elsewhere?

I want to make a customized version of the NT server CD. but when i copy the
i386 directory from the original cd to another cd, the ~'s and -'s in the
filenames become _'s. for example: jungle~4.wa_ becomes jungle_4.wa_ in real
mode DOS. the installation program can't find these ...

Hello, I have two intellistations that have windows NT
loaded on them.  They were set up to communicate with each
other, but now I'm getting an error "server full".  What
can I do to get these two systems talking to each other.  

I've recently begun having problems with one of the NT computers on our

Thanks for the suggestions, however the solution came from
another angle.  It turns out that pcAnywhere can cause a
conflict between the video drivers that the computer uses
and the drivers that pcAnywhere uses.  See KB266786.  This

I have a WinNT 4.0, SP6a server with two 10/100 NICs.  I want to add a third
Gigabit NIC for faster network backups.  Could this NIC interfere with the
other NICs connectivity?  I wouldn't think so, but I want to make sure.

I have a HP pavilion 6835 (model p3926a) that had Intel
graphics video on MB.  The graphics went sour and have
installed a Monster Fusion PCI video card (it is what we
had around).  The machine recognizes the card at startup
