Does anyone know if it is possible to only have the Drive Letter displayed on XP workstations instead of the entire UNC? Or have the drive letter appear prior to the UNC. With the UNC Displayed, it is hard to see the drive letter.

I'm trying to install NT on a brand new 40gig HD. when NT runs its storage device test, it does'nt find the HD. when I format the HD in FAT16, only 8gig is revealed by NT. what to do? somebody help
