I've just hit upon a big problem with one of my NT4 sp6
servers.  The nic went down so I installed a replacement
when I went to unbind the card i noticed that all the
services, protocols and binding dialogs were empty.  The

When I try to connect the machine that is the PDC in NT 4.0 to a printer
that is installed on workstation, I get the message that the RPC Server is
not available.  I looked at Services in the Control Panel and found the RPC
Locator and RPC Service are "started" [Automatic].  I was ...

I'm trying to figure out how to give users permisison to
change their passwords.  I'm running an nt4 sp6a domain
controller and the workstation machines are WinXP Pro.

Licenses that I have revoked always return after I restart
the servers.  And when this happens, I get a out of

I had RAS working for a while then it stopped. I rebooted the server but the
service would not start. The error I am getting are as follow:
1.  event ID 7023. The remote Access Connection manager service terminated
with the following error: The specified Module could not be found

A friend called me and asked if he can upgrade from Win98
on his old home PC to WinNT so he can tie into his
company's network. Can WinNT upgrade or does it need to be
a new clean install?
