I guess my message wasn't too clear. We host the PTR
records for the block of addresses that belong to us. In
effect, we are an ISP. Say we have addresses:
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

Have a nt 4.0 server which is one of two WINS servers on
the network.  For some reason, the service will not start
when the server is started.  The service is set to start
automatically.  Every thing else seems to be functioning

posts, it looks like I will be told to shut down and

Does Winnt4.0 DNS offer dynamic DNS registration. I have a few servers that
are Winnt 4.0 and Win2000 and a couple Win2000 pro W/staions will they be
able to register them selves in DNS ynamically.. ?
