     I need some advice or instructions how to delete the installation I

I have a laptop computer that keeps forgetting where it's memory is. I am
running Windows XP but i keep getting a message that reads:
Windows NT has not found enough extended memory. 7 mb of extended memory to
run windows Nt

This is a work Comp. My boss gave me his old comp. Well he told me that one
day he came into work and his comp would not take his Username and password.
It won't take anyone's. Gives the message please be sure usename and password
are correct, check to see if the  caps are on etc ...
