We typically distribute both WMV and quicktime files.   I'm not at all

stream MOV files.   Is this possible through Windows ...

see a big difference in where it pauses if I just link to the file via http
or if I use Windows Media services.  It will pause about every 10 seconds
and rebuffer.   I have  a T3.   Any recommendations ...

I have come up against a problem where I can stream a file, ie.
powered_by_300.wmv, but once it has run through once I am unable to "replay"
it unless I stop and restart the Publishing Point. We are running Server 2003
R2 SP2, and using WMP 11 under XP.
Push publishing point does not stop when the encoder does.18 Jul 2008 13:27 GMT5
I have a problem where the publishing point starts and does not sto
when the encoder stops. This causes problems for me because I a
relying on the archiving function of the publishing point to creat
separate archives of the content.
Can someone answer a few questions for me?18 Jul 2008 11:30 GMT3
I've decided it would be best to set up a wms rather than paying a monthly
hosting fee, and I have a few questions that I was hoping someone could
answer for me.

published point.  Works fine on local subnet
(mms://myserver/publishingpoint1), I can't reach it from the outside IP
address.  The IIS webserver works fine.  I can't reach the MMS.  I have tried
