I have a new webserver that is to replace my old webserver. The old one didnt have a firewall, but did have lots of websites and would stream video and audio quite happily. Now that I am moving the sites over, the video does not appear to work at all.

I discovered Active Scripts within Windows Media Server process and i've found a page to log interesting stuffs (like user IP, file path to the playlistn, etc...). I'd like to use these informations to manage access to the playlists.

I would like to know whether it is possible to implement some type of QOS negotiation between the server and the client, such that some bandwidth may be fixed. I have read somewhere that RSVP or DiffServ may be used for this, but I am all lost here. Could anyone enlighten me on

many posts on buffer dalays and windows media. tons of articles on lowering the buffer delay, but can somebody point me on how to get down to <5 seconds from the time the person speaks in front of the camera to the time the other person recieves the stream in their player.
