I've been doing some testing with network latency using both RTSPU (UDP) and
RTSPT (TCP).  I'm specifically talking about how long it takes a network packet
to traverse the network, not video latency caused by server/encoder buffering.

Just tossing up if I am going to multicast or unicast.  In general can I
expect more problems with clients, players, ISPs, routers and client
firewalls if I would multicast instead of unicast?
I have enaugh bandwith to unicast but maybe multicast is a more elegant...

I setting up wm server 2003 for a handful of on-demand unicast clients. I've
used Movie Maker to create slide shows and it seem 512kbps gives the
acceptable audio and video quality and makes files of approx 3Mb. I will have
a limited internet pipe - up to 2Mbps but may be less so ...
