working in a domain, client XP SP2 we have a problem with one client (notebook): when a certain user logs on, the OS hangs on "Executing: Begin User Group Policy" and all that helps is a hard reset.

Is it possible with Group policy to say which of the Domain controllers applies the policies to the workstations? We have 2 2003 DCs one is the FSMO and 1 2000 DC and a NT4.0 BDC in the domain and a mixture of XP and Vista and 2003 TS Servers. I am assuming that it is whatever ...

We have it locked down so users cannot download anything from IE or load active x unless the site is configured as a trusted site. Is it possible to retain this, but ONLY allow PDF documents to be downloaded from any site?

With XP computer, I use group policy management console to manage group policies. Can anyone help me with which tool I should use to manage group policies on Vista computer? (Windows 2003 SP2 and most XP computers environment)
