Quick question - hopefully there is a quick answer.... We recently moved our primary DC to a new server (hardware) - I have everything done/moved except 2 things... I need to run dcpromo yet to demote it -- and I need to move my Group Policy Management Console to the new DC.

Does anyone know of a way to limit the number of pages a person can print in Windows Server 2003? I have a number of students who think it is a great idea to print massive .pdf documents of stuff on our printers instead of their own printer at home.

in my win3k AD, i got some workstations that need to run a special application that need permissions to read and write to some registry keys. I would like to create a GPO that allow everyone that logon from that workstation to be able to read and write to that registry key.

Has anyone seen or found a fix for the issue where some client machines have a flashing of the monitor(s) during auto or manual group policy refreshes? I was able to deduce based on the timing of this flashing that it might be policy related and then I was able to repro the issue ...

I currently have a GPO for installing Adobe Reader 7.0. I created a new GPO to install Adobe Reader 812 which I have set to upgrade any 7.0 installs. A user logs on and 7.0 is uninstalled and 812 is installed. that is fine. My question is , does the 812 need the 7.0

I'm having some really strange problems and I cant work out how to solve them. It seems that some of my clients are not detecting the Security Groups they are in. I have tried the "gpupdate /force" command on these laptops but to no avail.
