I am trying to restrict folder sharing using group policy in a mixed
XP/WIN2K environment.  Other than removing our users from the power
users group, which would cause a host of issues, I think I may have

I am trying to lock down a few of my laptops to allow only one user at a
time (plus admins) the right to log on locally. Used Group Policy and it
worked great.

The group policy to enforce password protection on the screen saver isn't
doing anything.  It results in the password box being checked and greyed out,

I just setup a new 2003 R2 server running a new AD promoted to native
mode. No matter what changes I make to the Default Domain password
policy, they don't take. Run gpupdate /force several times to no avail.
