I'm looking into implementing Group Policy across my domain and am
looking for some advice in the best way to do so.
Many of the settings that I push out through GP are global to the
domain, for example, the home page that I set everyone's IE to, local

If an applicationhas been deployed to a computer via GPO, will it re-install
after next re-boot automatically?  IF not is there a way to make this happen?

The description is not as impressive as the screen shot...
When I run rsop.msc all the tree view nodes under Administrative
Templates are in different languages. Clarification: They are NOT all

We have a problem with some computers in our domain not processing GPO's.
The Event Log is full of errors with event id 1030 and 1058 on 2003 DC's and
1000 on the 2000 workstations not processing the GPO's, indicating that
"Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy ...

I can tell that it is a "User Configuration" but I can't see which one is
causing the problem.
I try to access the remote server via Explorer's address bar by putting
\\servername and hitting enter.

OK....so.....I have a policy that sets a proxy server so that our lower
school kids and teachers have to go through our Symantec server to hit the
web. Policy works like a dream if I move the particular OU out of the parent
and put it in the "root" of AD.

Is it possible to redirect the IE favorites folder?  I have users who use
multiple computers and it would be nice to have their favorites centrally
located.

I want to apply a group policy to a GPO if the target computer name is equal

I want everyone that's a member of an OU to also be a member of a group in

domain I've recently setup...... and groups policies aren't getting
applied to my workstations any suggestions on whats the
