Can anyone tell me how to disable a Screen Saver on a Computer, not a User using GPO's. I tried using "Loopback Processing" on the GPO but it didn't work.

Good afternoon, Is there a way to reset the local administrator password by using the GPO or scripting. We have an AD environment where the users are no administrators. Would a script work when you apply it through a computer bases GPO?

We have logoff scripts in our GPO to write to text file a username,date,time,workstation for generating timesheets for the users to save them having to fill them by hand but these are not working for many of our users.

I have created a custom ADM to modify the "DaysToKeep" key in the HKCU. Ideally, I want to have an input box, where the user inputs a number (the number of days), is that possible? Other than that, how does it look?

I have a machine that i took off the domain and now i want to remove all group policy. I thought by default when i log in locally with the administrator account these policys wouldnt apply. Thats not the case.

I have a windows 2000/2003 environment and trying to understand how to do persistent drive mappings that are available on startup of a server and not linked to a specific user logon. Actually no users will sit down at the console and actually login to the box.
