if an WinXP computer starts up without connection to a DC it uses cached cred. And any policy changes are aplied later when it automaticly does an policy refresh. This applies to almost any policy exept the Software settings.

I have asked this question before and didn't get any answer. Is there a way to mass configure my clients wired LAN connections to use 802.1x auth like the wireless policy? I have approx 2000 wired clients which i don't want to manually configure.

I have setup a GPO (OU level, computer configuration, set t Assign) to push Office Xp Pro to Windows XP machines in the office. The GPO is working fine in pushing the application, however, when Office XP is removed from the machine, it does not get installed back automatically?
