Win2k Pro doesn't boot after upgrading from SP3 to SP429 Nov 2006 04:13 GMT1
I originally posted this message in win2000.general forum...but didn't get
much response. Please reply if anybody has any suggestions.
When I tried to boot from Win2k CD, Windows 2000 Setup screen came up and I
pressed F10 and C while it loaded series of files and finally it came ...

I attempted to upgrade to W2K Pro, including conversion to NTFS.
But:approximately every 20 min the PC reboots itself and goes back to
the same place.  The reboot occurs after the following step occur:
Installing Device Drivers, Performing Final Tasks, Installing Start

I purchased Windows 2000 Pro. and discovered during the
install that I did'nt have the 'Certificate of Authencity'
and therefore couldn't install the key that came with the
software.  How can I get a  certificate of authencity?
