After upgrading some windows 2000 SP3 machines to Windows 2000 SP4, something
unexpected happened.
When trying to manage the computer and install sms we realised that now the
BITS service is stuck in "stopping" state. It can neither be started nor

Last night I clean installed Windows  2000  pro sp4.  It worked great
and downloaded all programs I needed, Today I tried to turn on and
only get black screen saying "can't find operating system."
It will repeat this over and over  Now floppy disc and CD drive do not

I have 2 issues which I have been all over this and Microsofts website
