Please help, at wit's end!
After last Microsoft security updates on my Win 2000 RAID 5 server, I
rebooted and the server would not boot. After a full day of hardware
troubleshooting I got it working, but could not log into Windows again.

I have a running W2K3 installation and want to use an IDE RAID controller for
the hard drive for data redundancy.  As the system is already set-up and
running, I imagine I can't just plug the new card in, attach the drive and be
up and going.  What is the process to make W2K3 add ...

Got an old server to be replaced by a new one.  What is the best way to
migrate the data, settings, AD, et al, from old to new?  Backup/restore
is not an option.

My questions refer to Win2003 but since I didn't find a special group for
that I'll ask here.
1. I need to upgrade to win2003 from win2000, and I have subscription for
MSDN from where I have the CD. Does it demand a serial/activation?
