I would like to migrate my NT 4.0 server to a new box
using 2000. I have heard about some migration tools, and
was wondering if there was something specific that could
save me some work.

I am trying to install windows 2000 on an ibm thinkpad
390x. I have tried just about tried everything. I tried
upgrading the old operating system which was windows nt.4
and windows 2000 loads all the files and then just hangs.

I just upgraded fron NT 4 to 2000 server. The NT had the
small boot partition on c and the large partition on D.
Is there any way I can expand the boot partition to cover
both partitions? (one large c partition)

If I plan to Migrate my current NT4 users to a totally different W2k domain,
is there anything that needs to be done with the NT4 SAM, or can I just
migrate them to the new domain?

i recently upgraded from win 98 to win 2000 pro. i
reinstalled all drivers from motherboard disk for all that
weren't included on win 2000 disk but i still can't get
the modem to work. within the device manager i get an

Windows 2000 command for the same editing?

ipconfig.exe file. somehow, I've successfully installed,

I have just upgraded from NT4 to 2000. I have two serial ports installed on
the motherboard. In the BIOS these are shown as COM1 (3E8, IRQ4) and COM2
(2F8, IRQ3). However, the Control Panel\Hardware\Device Manager\Ports shows
