The MS webpage seems to have changed - previously the user could select
among available updates.
I cannot see how that can be done now from what I see.  Must users now

My Win2000 often crashes, but at irregular intervals, and I get a BSD with
the message : *** STOP 0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER

I've got an update that will not install and keeps showing up as something I
need to install.
Autoupdate keeps telling me there is an update (KB832483) ready for install
(I have it set to download and let me choose when to install), I say OK and

I want to install windows 2000 SP3 on my old laptop, which has no
network access. How could I do it without connect to internet? BTW, I
have another computer which could access internet. I downloaded SP3
(express installation). When I run it on my laptop, it asks me for

My C drive is probably too small, but I'm trying to free up space and there
are ~400MB of data in 137 of these folders titled $NtUninstallKBXXXXX$. If I
have no intent of uninstalling the updates can I just delete these folders?

We are late (nearly 3 years) in deploying windows xp sp2 to our network.
The method we use is RIS. With the CD based image being xp sp2. We then
create an RIPrep image which has all our software and all microsoft updates
installed on it.
