I've Windows 2003 SP1 suddenly a shared folders that the users used to
access became read only and i cann't manage by any means to get it back to
read write !!!! what can be the reason for that and how can i solve this?

I am using Windows 2000 service pack 4.  I get a reminder from Windows update
utility about new updates, and it never goes away even though the update

This is a cumulative security update for IE6 SP1.  The MS site says this is
several years old.  The auto update for May ran an hour ago, and I even
have this message in my reportingevents.log file:
Installation Successful: Windows successfully installed the following
KB867801 (2004) offered in Windows 2000 SP4 after getting updates today.11 May 2007 06:51 GMT23
Another user (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,18303288) and I are
having problems with KB867801 that keeps saying it is installed
successfully after getting today's new updates for Windows 2000 SP4.
