svchost.exe - running cpu 90-100%26 Sep 2006 03:01 GMT2
Recently, part of users report their wks super slow when they turned on
computer when started work. The svchost.exe fully occupied cpu 100% after
checked. But I can't check any virus / spyware or any adnormal program
running after unplug the network cable.

I have an old computer running Windows 2000, which has been running for
years without problems. I normally use it as a web server. It's named
QUASIMODO
I logged on today and found that my users home directory has changed from

It installs, the update say it installed succesfully, but if auto update is
on it will reinstall again a few mins. later. If you go to the MS update

win2000 pro.I also took of my fire wall,and all spy wear programs.So at

I don't know if anyone has seen this here, but I noticed that after
running windows update in August (about 2-3 weeks ago), my backups were
failing for having too many files changing after they were copied into
a new directory.
