After I allowed Windows 2000 Advanced Server to apply several security updates a couple months ago, I was then greeted with a Stop 0xA "IRQL Not Less or Equal" for every conceivable start up mode. I put another operating system on that machine just so I could get at the files.

Has anyone come across this - the mouse works fine, but not the keyboard. All the above lights keep flashing. Its Windows XP home and AMD processor. Cheers

The Update for Windows Media Player 9 KB911565 downloads OK but hangs halfway through its install on my system: Windows 2000 professional SP4 + later updates. Has anyone had the same experience and managed to work the problem out? TiA reg.

Having a difficult time activating TS licenses for a couple of our servers that have expired, and not quite sure where to go from here. Neither of the two servers have the Terminal Server Licensing app installed on them, but a different server does.

I cannot access windows update manually. I have it set to automatic updates - sometimes they come through and sometimes they don't. I can't even access the microsoft.com website. The page just sits there. It does the same thing when I try to get to microsoft updates as well ...

We're currently trying to run the windows update on a Windows 2000 Server, but keep getting the above error message. We've checked the eventid but no solution, the anti virus software that we are running is sophos and we have SQL server 2000 installed aswell.

I have a valid key. The Microsoft Update site suddenly said that my key is invalid when Microsoft had previously checked it out and it was valid. Now I can't get updates. About the same time this happened, my Google Toolbar disappeared.
