I hope someone can shed some light on this problem. I have Win2000 SP4 on a Compaq M700 and I am trying to upgrade to SP6. While the SP is running, I get the window displayed: update.exe Entry Point Not Found

How do I solve error 0x8DDD0009? It occurs after I press check for updates on the windows update site - I wait for 15 minutes then this error comes up with the text saying it can't open the page I want.

I am wondering, if I get a second computer can I install my same copy of Windows 2000 on it to create a LAN? Or do I have to have a separate copy for each computer? Also, will Windows Update work on both computers?
