Every time I connect to the WSUS admin console I get the following error

When I close the MSIE window in which I ran Windows Update on a Windows
2000 system, a new MSIE window opens behind it, with an advertisement
for life insurance, registry cleaners, or whatever.  I don't think that
Microsoft is responsible for these ads, so I assume the computer is

Is it best to wipe your hard drive (after backing up all programmes) and
then install XP? If so how do I wipe the drives?
I have tried to install XP from my disk but I cannot get it to recognise my
internal modem. IS this because I am trying to install it over Win 98?

I have this problem where two times in a row after I installed a Logitech
Quickcam, and then a Bluetooth dongle, Windows update and automatic update
shows I need rollup 1 again.  It's like I have to re-install rollup 1 after

Need help to upgrade from Win 98 to 2000xp. I want to wipe my hard drive and
put a clean install. I tried to install advance upgrade from the disk but
now I have 98 and 2000 on board.
Problem is I can't get the disk to boot from the cd, even when I have change

I had to re-install Win2k and after installing SP4 and the rollup, whenever
I run Windows Update, it will download the required files but they all fail

I have just installed WSUS on a windows 2003 server.  The WSUS is using the
custom port as there is aleady a web page running on the server and using
port 80.  I have migrated the content and approvals from SUS to the new WSUS
server.

Since I reinstalled windows 2000 I now get an option to pick which Windows
2000 OS to boot to. Unless I sit and watch for the option it defaults to the
previous Windows install that doesn't work. This is driving me nuts.

subfolders and files appear under C:\WINNT. All the patches seem to work
well.
