I am moving from SUS to WSUS.  I am installing WSUS on a different machine
to SUS then migrating the content and approvals.
I am using the WSUS doc from Microsoft and following their migration steps.
Has anyone done these steps and had any problems.

Hi, I believe my computer may have a virus.  When I go to the Device manager
the screen freezes.  Windows does continue to function, but the device
manager screen stays blank...
Any ideas?

 The "Telephone" icon in my control panel was corrupt and I deleted in

My question is.... we are running Win 2000 Pro. We have the automatic
updates set on our pc's to download dailey at 12 noon an install. After patch
tuesday rolls around the updates show up on the pc but they do not download.
This is happening on the entire network. Any Ideals?

    I keep getting told that I need the Microsoft Update SP2 for my
Office 2003 but every time I try to update I get the message that it has
failed. I am using the teacher and student edition as is my daughter who
gets the same problem. Any ideas please?

We installed the latest windows updates on our print server (all

I've noticed that msvcrt.dll is still the 7 Dec 1999 version of the DLL.
I have SP4 and there were updates in each SP, at least thru SP 3.
Why are not the updated versions installed?
Likely similar story with other DLLs.
problem with pdf and jpg file downloads 12 Nov 2005 03:08 GMT1
A few weeks ago we started having problems with our mail boxes locking up.
It turned out to be some emails (always with a pdf or jpg attachment) -
deleting the emails freed the mail box. I am not sure of the exact date
because the problem is intermittent (in that it only happens ...

I have now installed this upate and auto update keeps to telling me to
reinstall the 1st time i had to reboot my computer after installing but the
2nd and after no reboot is required but i still reboot and i keep haveing to
install it clicking on the auto update icon
