The SP1 update for windows 2003 server failed.  We are trying to reinstall
sp1 again but we are receiving the the error message "Failed to install
catalog files when applying Windows 2003 sp1"
Is someone could suggest a way to force the installation?

I seem to be having a problem installing SP4 on my Win 2000 server.
I have downloaded the network install and after the "Inspecting" and
backup of files, I get a copy error. The install can not find the file
c:\winnt\servicepackfiles\i386\cmd.exe. I looked in that folder and

I am trying to upgrade from Win98SE to Win2k. I selected the recommended
"upgrade" rather than the new (clean) installation.
During the "Perforing Final Tasks" it get stuck at the "Upgrades program

the START button continually blinks.  Very annoying.  User does not want to
