We currently use SUS to keep our XP Prof clients up to date with patches But the boss wants us to do the same with our Windows 2000 servers - obviously doing it on a test one first. Does anyone else do this - or has anyone any recommendations?

I have a W2kServer DC and a Win2003Enterprise Terminal server, I want to upgrade my Win2K to a Win2003. When I prepare the schema with adprep /forestprep, I get an error like this Adprep heeft een Win32-fout aangetroffen.

Some updates, including KB885835 require more disk space on drive C: then I have. Using the the /n switch (no backup) solved the problem until now, but KB885835 seems to need even more space on drive C:. I get the following message:

I've frequently noticed that the installation phase of Windows Update in my W2K takes very long time. I've never clocked it but it appears to be twice the time it took to download the updates. Does anyone know what goes on during the installation that can take such long time?

Can anybody help me please After a power cut my Win2k boots as far as a screen that tells me that awegina.dll has failed to load. Trying to boot in safe mode it tells me that the pagefile is too small.
