Recently I installed Win2000 Service Pack 4 on my machine
hoping it would fix some issues I have been having with my
PC, only to find that it is totally incompatible with the
drivers of one of the most common graphics chips out

I just pulled up my add and remove programs  , and there
are alot of Windows XP hotfix in it . I count something
like 27 of them. do they need to stay in there or are
they put in there temoporary, when you update....

Is there a way to find out which servers are not getting
the automatic updates through the SUS server?  I don't
feel like visiting or terminaling into 260 servers to find
out.

I just got done successfully installing SP4 for Win2000 pro.  I also
installed all the recommended updates, both security & driver.
However, I still can't seem to get USB 2.0 working on my Intel 865PE Pro II
Motherboard that supports USB 2.0.

Have a few Win2k-SP4 computers on our network that don't
have services for Automatic Update or BITS (Background
Intelligent Tranfer Service) when you look in Computer
Management>Services. They are all running SP4 which is

When attempting to download the automatic updates for
windows, i am experiencing the following:  I get a message
window telling me that a hardware problem has occurred and
windows is unable to accept the updates.  Is anyone else

I have installed W2000 and updated IE to version 6. I had
no trouble with connecting to the internet. But after

hi, we have four or more Dell workstations that just
started rebooting from bugchecks at start-up. The bugcheck
numbers are 0x....44.  This looks like the HP IRQ_L ...  
all-in-one USB error that we used to see all the time. All

Can anyone advise as to why the Computer clock is
continually running at three-quarter's of an hour behind
time - when you adjust to correct time it seems to revert
back to being behind.
