I have restored a recent SYSTEM file from a Hive backup and can get on now
as Administrator. The main problem is there appears to be no DNS lookup

The story so far...
1. Had W2K SP4 installed and Ghosted a drive using Norton Ghost.
2. Experienced 2 working disks with W2K on - could boot into either OK; NEW
or OLD.

Have a Windows 2000 advanced server which had a disk failure. Was able to
repair most of the data, but the system still dosn't boot: The system boots
until the end of the white progress bar (before the GUI) and and then
freezes without any message.

Will Windows 2000 pro install onto a sata drive?  I have been trying to
install Win 2000 onto a new dell computer with only a sata controller
and Windows won't even format the partition.

Problem:
Windows 2000 Pro (being set into a dual boot with Windows XP) will not

Hi I just had to reformat and reinstall windows 2000. (All updates
service pack etc installed)
I have a wireless network adaptor from linksys.
WPC54GX.   I downloaded the latest drivers and software from Linksys
