I have an older laptop, it's a Sager, running win 2k. It used to run ok, then
it crashed hard and I had to format and reinstall. Now, I cannot connect to
the internet with it to get the 12 dozen updates that I need now. I don't
know what to do, I'm not in a position to take it to ...

i want to install windows server 2000 on external USB HDD
and i know that we have the option of installing the operating system on the
external devices as when we boot with the CD we get the option as press F6
for installaing on external or SCSI devices

Which W2K or XP version will support 8 gigs of memory?  Thanks.

I'm attempting to install windows 2000 Profressional, however as soon as the
initial setup starts, it asks for Setup Disk 1 to be inserted into A: drive,
I dont have a floppy drive on the PC.  How do I go about getting Windows 2000
to install without a floppy drive?
