I set up wife's computer for her as limited, and myself as administrator
priviledges.  All of a sudden, my account has disappeared and I can't get it
back.  I have tried 'restore' and 'recovery' but can't get them to run as

I am running MS Vista Ultimate.  About 2 weeks ago ALL updates of any kind,
from any vendor, including MS have failed to install.  When I try to manually
install any of them, they also fail.  Error messages yield no helpful
information, fixes or work arounds.  HELP!

I am looking at a way to restrict users to be able to login from any one
machine
on network. They have flexibility to come every day and login to any of the
machines available on network..They should be able to login from two machines

I wonder whethere there are some ways to delegate specific rights to some
ones who are able to logon server locally, start and stop certain services,
kill certain processes, reboot/shutdown servers?
