I set up wife's computer for her as limited, and myself as administrator
priviledges.  All of a sudden, my account has disappeared and I can't get it
back.  I have tried 'restore' and 'recovery' but can't get them to run as
wife isn't administrator.  I can't even upgrade the ...

I have to change a security policy on windows 2000 server in order to start
a thirdy party application.
This option is "Sharing and security model for local accounts" and should be

I am running MS Vista Ultimate.  About 2 weeks ago ALL updates of any kind,
from any vendor, including MS have failed to install.  When I try to manually
install any of them, they also fail.  Error messages yield no helpful
information, fixes or work arounds.  HELP!

machine
on network. They have flexibility to come every day and login to any of the
machines available on network..They should be able to login from two machines
