Is there any way to set upi permissions on a shared folder that would allow
the end user to be able to read and execute the files in the shared folder,
but deny access to copying these files.

One fo the DC (2003) keep generating event id 538, 540 & 576.
This caused the security event log full in 3 minutes .
Any way to check which service keep generating the 3 events ?

currently we collect our mail from the ISP using POP to our email
server.  I want to start using direct SMTP.  However this server is
our only server and has Active Directory, Sage, works data  etc etc on

2003 Small Business Server set up as a terminal server.

Does anyone know of a 3rd party tool that uses EFS (or not) to set a folder /
volume so files can be encrypted by anyone of a group and anyone in that
group can decrypt? We want to avoid the complexity and hassel of giving
access to encrypted files on a user by user basis.

Does anyone know of anyway to automate synchronizing the password of a user's
local account on their Windows XP machine with their local account that is
set up on a standalone Windows 2000 server?

yesterday I was using a mapped drive to a rs/6000 system.
I changed my windows password
today I can not map the drive.
I changed the password back and now I can map the drive.
