I am getting a new server and need to be able to move all the files from the
old server to the new server and need to retain all the ntfs and share
permissions.  I am running server 2000, how can i do this.

I have a PC with windows 2000 professional loaded at factory.  Went to turn
on and there's a "Log on to Windows" screen.  No idea what user name or
password was--- don't even recall setting them.

I've recently been tasked with moitoring an end user's system remotely. The

In every folder windows creates another folder of the same name (in fact it
is an application but have the icon of a folder)..this created folder is a
shortcut to my documents..

I know I can take folder ownership but I want to transfer ownership to
another user without that user having to do anything.
This because I moved the users folder and am using quota manager.
