Good afternoon,
   Would someone explain to me what I am doing wrong with setting password
expiration on my Windows 2000 server?
   For this scenario lets assume I installed active directory and created

I've got a 2003 SP1 server with all of the latest updates ( as of today )
running as a Stand-Alone Certificate Authority.
When I attempt to request certificates for IIS servers, using the Web
Enrollment, I keep getting the following messages.

professional.
It was a point of sale system with the OS installed by the vendor who is now
out of business.

I need to either hide or disable an icon in the notification area in WIN 2k.
It doesnt matter if whole notification area is hidden / disabled, or if its
just the one icon. Is there a way to do this?

Does windows 2000 professional maintain a log of everytime the computer was
turned on and who turned it on?  If so, what is the name of the log file and
where is it located?

I have a network at work where I would like to prevent everybody except
the Administrator from deleting folders from the FileServer.
I would like to allow access for everyone to delete individual files
within these folders but not the folders themselves.

Lately my laptop has been very slow.  When I look at Task Manager is
see msgfix.exe is running multiple times.  When I try to kill it, it
won't let me even though I am logged on as "Administrator".  I also see
it listed more than once in the startup programs when I run 'msconfig'.

Hi, fail to open the local policy in Win2000 Server SP3.
Returned message saying cannot open with unknown error.
