My company have a Windows 2000 which have a VB6 application connecting the
Windows Server 2003 R2 with SQL Server 2005 Standard.
Recently, the Server PC was formatted and same OS and SQL Server were
installed.

Suddenly, no programs will open in windows 2000 professional sp4.  If I click
an icon or open the program from the start menu, I get the "(insert program
here) has generated errors and will be closed by windows" message.  I

I had an old desktop pc with Win2000Pro connected on my DSL router and fully
updated Windows, etc and the internet connection worked fine.
I gave the box to a friend who uses a cable modem, and the box will not

I have just re-installed win2000 (incSP4) on my computer and it will not let
me do updates. I go to update site, it installs Activex control, then it get
an Error number: 0x800C0002 appearing in the top right hand corner.
