DNS entries not saved after reboot17 Oct 2008 16:08 GMT1
Just took over admin of a DNS server that is not saving dns changes after
reboot.
I add an A record and it looks fine. After a reboot the DNS reverts to the
setup prior to the reboot.

OK, I should know this, but i'm drawing a blank.
I have a small environment where all clients receive IP's via DHCP.   DHCP
leases are 2 hours. I also have DHCP configured to "Always dynamically
update DNS A and PTR records", "Discard A and PTR records when lease is

Using NETDIAG I found 3 errors on my Windows 2000 Domain Controller:
The first:
Netcard queries test . . . . . . . : Passed
   [WARNING] The net card 'RAS Async Adapter' may not be working
