I have some stand alone computers that are not getting dns from my windows
domain dns.  Is there a setting that only allows domain computers dns?

I have a Windows 2003 Virtual Private Server and I'm trying to
configure it with a BIND DNS Server so my web hosts can point a domain
name to it.  I've installed BIND9.4.2 on the server using some good
instructions I found here:

Why would some of my servers respond to NetBios names while other will not
respond to anything but their FQDN?  The servers are all in the smae domain
etc....

Ok. I'm working my way through an inherited win2k dns infrastucture here and
am finding some problems.
We run 2 internal DC's with DNS for our internal network. We also have 3
external facing DNS server in our DMZ. It looks like the last admin who set

of removing.
Currently it runs DNS but not activley.
