I have a server that is running win2k server (MYDOMAIN) Running on a
Server named MYSERVER1. This is a Domain Controller, DNS, WINS, DHCP
and A file Server. (I Did Not Do IT!)  I would like to move the File
server part of this to a new server with the same server name

We have 9 windows 2003 domain servers in a forest and each DC has DNS. When I
try to open DNSmgmt, the DNS server opens locally. If I want to connect to
other DNS server in the domain, Cannot contact the DNS server. NSlookup works

We installed Windows 2003 Server a few months ago and we're
experiencing issues with it.
Recently we keep on having to reboot the server in order to log in
from the 20 XP workstations connected to it.

i have a problem with the dns in our network, i have a domain with a domain
controller with windows 2003 server and active directory with a database
server with windows 2003 server and sql server, this server is running iis
and two network interfaces on it, and a windows 2000 ...

The domain at our office is called mydomain.com. We just setup our website
on a shared hosting site, where we use a shared ip. That side is authortative
for our domain name.
Outside of the office we can access mydomain.com ok, but inside the network

I have a W2K domain with a domain name "name.com". When my users go to our
company website which is not hosted in house, they must type in the "www"
for the site to come up. If they just type "name.com" or http://name.com, it
does not come up..
