I created the SPF record for our email domains using the wizard on MS sender id description pages. I have no idea how or where to enter it in the dns server and I could not find anything on the MS site. Can somebody give me a hand with a step-by-step description? Thanks

I am a newbie in the DNS "area". I've gone through few books, but none of them explains on how to separate a setup for public domain name from a setup for internal domain name. Can both of them coexist on the same LAN, say one with one server and few clients behind a NAT router?

I have a Windows 2000 Active Directory. I just added a Linux client. The linux client is receiving DHCP from my domain controller. I've added an entry for my linux client in Windows 2000 DNS so now all my Windows machines can ping the linux machine by its hostname.

I wondered if anybody could give me any feedback on this problem. I have a Windows 2000 Server (SP4), which is the sole Active Directory controller on a network with about 8 client PCs. It is configured with 4 DNS Servers (supplied by the ISP) as forwarders.

We have a small office of about 17 people or so. The internal domain and dns are setup as domain.net (for example). They have a 3rd party web publisher that hosts there website as the same domain.net.

We have a Active Directory with mixed Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 DC's. Currently we have 2 Windows 2000 DNS servers. Where one is running as primary and the other as secondary. Would it have any impact on the secondary DNS server if we upgrade (or reinstall) it to Windows 2003 ?.
