Browsing most all web pages works fine.  If I go to www.google.com, it works
fine.  mail.google.com works fine.  But, if I try groups.google.com, after a
period of time I get the "DNS error" web page.  If I do a nslookup on
groups.google.com I get an ip address.  If I use that ip ...

Say I have a site called http://www.example.com.
I’m looking for a way to do the following:
When the request for http://www.example.com comes in I’d like it to
bypass the DNS and instead have it re-direct to a certain IP.

Scenario: Windows 2003 AD and Integrated DNS. AD DNS's forward to unix
servers which forward to the internet - fairly normal. AD DNS servers don't

This Machine is a PDC of the domain at the root of the forest.
Configure to sync from External time source using the net command,
'net time /setsntp:<server name>'.

Regarding my question that I post 2 days ago, I have have tried to add a new
host in my DNS : "www" which will point to www.suriagroup.com.my 
(69.93.72.114).
But.... still I cannot access to the external website from our office. This

Hopefully someone can help with this despite it being one of those
problems where you're not 100% sure on what group if should belong. So

If I attempt to do anything regarding security on any shares, I don't

I am having  a logon problem with only one W2K Pro client after a server
upgrade to Windows 2003 w/ AD. The client was fine prior to the upgrade, and
also for a few hours after the upgrade. Thw Windows 2003 server is running
AD, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.

has lately been receiving first the DNSAI error 11183 "the system failed to
remove and update registration for adapter..." then later a NETBT 4319 error
stating that a "duplicate name has been detected ...
