Say I have a site called http://www.example.com. I’m looking for a way to do the following: When the request for http://www.example.com comes in I’d like it to bypass the DNS and instead have it re-direct to a certain IP.

Scenario: Windows 2003 AD and Integrated DNS. AD DNS's forward to unix servers which forward to the internet - fairly normal. AD DNS servers don't reference theirself as first DNS server.... however, the issue is that about 1 in 10 nslookups for external domains

This Machine is a PDC of the domain at the root of the forest. Configure to sync from External time source using the net command, 'net time /setsntp:<server name>'. EVENT VIEWER ERROR MESSAGE...ı DONT KNOW PROBLEM ...

Hopefully someone can help with this despite it being one of those problems where you're not 100% sure on what group if should belong. So I will probably end up repeating this in other groups if I have no luck.

If I attempt to do anything regarding security on any shares, I don't see anything in the domain, just users on the local machine. I have looked at my DNS server to no end and can find nothing wrong. All the clients point to it as the primary. I am also getting the following on

I am having a logon problem with only one W2K Pro client after a server upgrade to Windows 2003 w/ AD. The client was fine prior to the upgrade, and also for a few hours after the upgrade. Thw Windows 2003 server is running AD, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
