I have a small network. One Windows 2000 Server running AD, File and Print,
Exchange, DNS, DHCP. I want to take the file and print services away from
that server and add a second server with Windows 2000 Advanced Server. My
question is this, can I add the Advanced - Server ...

I have a SOHO with only one Win2K internet server and one XP PRO
workstation, so it would be ridiculous to use AD.
When I try to join the Win 2k's internet domain, I get "The DNS SRV
record is not registered in DNS", which of course is true. I don't want

ASP.NET 2.0 deployed itselft to all my servers thru WSUS, and several dozens
of my servers encounter the following error :

Using this example:
Control Panel->System->Computer Name->Full Computer Name is mypc
Workgroup is MYWG
I can open \\mypc if I do Start->Run and put in \\mypc
