I am trying to retire a server that was supposedly a DC w. exchange 5.5.  A
contractor had came in to install Exchange 2000 on a new server and move all
the data over from exchange 5.5.  I was told he disabled all the exchange
services and demoted it.

I want to use a simple batch file to copy and register files in a startup
script.  I do this because I don't allow the users to write to the folders
or register the files.  Registration is working if the files are present,

I have followed the directions in the manual, that is: 'The Special Edition
Using Windows 2000 Server'  however, it does not provide enough detail on
how to make it work.

couldn't get the monitor to work.  I said i would use it for parts if
he wanted to get rid of it.  it is not a bad machine.  i could really
use it if i could somehow install XP on it.  or maybe a different OS.
