I have a large domain and i want to block ADU&C to be executed from several machines(or opposite, i want it ]ONLY to be executed from certain machines) no matter what user is logged on, how can i do this?
any help is appreciated.

My win2000 server was abnormally shut down by power supply today,now when I
re-start it,it always stops the steps "applying security policy" for almost
1-2 hours,Can you tell me how can I to do?Thanks!

it doesnot work when user logon.. why ? please advise

Just started my system this morning - got an "inaccesible boot device" error
while windows is starting up. Tried booting into safe mode and using the last
used configuration but neither allowed windows to start up (progress bar
almost reaches the end, then I get the Stop Error). ...

I'm running a cluster with two physical addresses of .20 & 21, with a VM
address of .23 for SQL & .22 for RDP.
The network link I am running this over will only permit the .23 & .22 to
replicate over the link (this is for admin reason that we cannot use the

I'm getting Event ID 1123 "The node lost communication

seconds later.  This happens about 2-3 times per hour.

My dear,I have a question and it makes me crazy.
In my loginscript, I want to write key into registry,but normal users have
not right to write. When I use Su.exe,the key was wrote into the
administrator's registry,it still couldn't write the normal user's registry.

I have 2 Proliant 6400R's Clustered with an HP MSA1000.  I
had to delete 2 arrays containing 1 logical drive each and
combine them to make 1 array with 1 logical drive.  All of
this went fine, the new drive is online in Windows Disk

OK, here's the deal...I have a Win2K Advanced Server with SP4...it's running
Terminal Services so 17 users can log into the server and run a couple of
apps.
Twice over the past 6 months (once today and once in September) the Intel

how do you manage to update remote users (with automatic windows update)?
also what's the recommended way to restrict user permission levels ? I need
the remote users to get the automatic windows update and install them
automatically while not giving them local admin permissions.
