I'm running Win2003 R2 DC
I have four DC (same domain) at different location.
question: I have one location going to closed down and I wish to
decommission that DC, pls advice how to perform it and ensure it doesn't

Can anyone tell me if delegation of administration has been improved
in Windows 2008 AD or if there is anything majorly different from
Windows 2003 AD. Do the old best practices still ring true?

I replaced a server with a new server. Consequently, I now have two servers
that are configured exactly the same. Now, they are both a domain controller,
with the same name, on the same domain.

Got a question. It is alright or safe to not perform a metadata clean up on
the AD to remove DC from records referring to the former DC which no longer
exist in the networks? Been told by friends it is alright to leave it alone.

suddently without changing anything we get KDC 8 Errors with :

User report their user account always locked. But I cannot found any bad
password & account locked event in the domain controller secuirty event log,
even I enable audit log in domain policy.
