I did a search here and other sites but couldn't find any info on this. Would someone plase direct me to the right place? I'm trying to move a Win2K3 VM to my second Hyper-V Server. I also have VMMC installed if that may be a better way to do this.

Before I go out and test this, can someone tell me off hand if converting from a fixed disk to dynamic reduces the size of the disk to the space used, or do I just end up with a dynamic disk of the same size?

Ok, for a newbie with virtualization I've had pretty good luck on my Windows Server 2008 standard server with hyper-v. So far I've successfully installed and frequently use a Vista guest, a Windows 2003 standard server guest, and I even got Ubuntu up and running.
