I just installed Hyper-V server standalone. The nic is DHCP and on the same subnet as my Server 2008 Standard. I can ping other computers in the workgroup (no Domain setup yet) from the Hyper-V server but cannot see the Hyper-V server from the my Standrd Server

Im evaluating hypervisor now. I need to have (1) vm of xp running and be able to have 50 people log into that same vm. Why does it seem like I have to create 50 new VM's. (1) for each user independently.

What options do we have share files between the Hyper-V host and guest machine? I know that I cab use network shares, but I am looking for something that is not limited to 100mbps Ethernet connections.

I looking for a vbscript that will allow me to apply a snapshot to a VM, then start the VM. I have used some scripts to start and stop the VM's but can't find how to apply a snapshot. I hope someone else has done it.

I migrated a VM from Virtual Server 2005 R2 to a new server running Hyper-V. The VM was assigned a SCSI disk. When migrated, the VM would not boot (obviously, since HV does not support SCSI boot devices.)
