with one 2.4 Ghz dual-core Opteron and 5 GB of ram, system on mirrored 72Gb

We're playing with Hyper-V Server 2008 (the free small footprint bare metal
hypervisor not WS2008 with Hyper-V role) in the lab, and the first question

I have got a Hyper-v Host running 3 Virtual Machines.
2 of the 3 loses connectivity Intermittedly and you cant ping them for about
10 - 30 pings.

Hi, I have got a Hyper-V Server with 3 Virtual servers on it. Every now and

Hello, I am going crazy trying to set up this environment:
- a windows server 2003 64bit running on a x64 machine
- several win xp pro 32 bit workstations on 32 bit machines
I created on the server a win xp 32bit virtual machine but there is no way

I'm wondering does hyper-V allow the guest to see all available cores on the
physical machine?  I have an application which runs much faster (uses more
threads) when it notices that there is more than one core available.
