We are running Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1. When I reboot the physical machine I always have problems with the Virtual Server Admin Website. The website will fail to load and displays a cgi timeout error.

When creating a new virtual machine in VS 2005 R2 it seemed like the only option was to use a dynamically expanding virtual disk rather then a fixed virtual disk. I'm afraid of defrag problems down the road, especially considering the size.

Anyone know of any good ways to move a VMDK to VHD? I have a few VM ESXi servers and we're making the push to W2008. I have A 2008 DC server running with SCVMM installed and now I have been tasked to convert a virtual server on an ESXi server to the HyperV 2008 DC server.
