What would happen if I virtualized an NT server without running hotfix

Where did Microsoft move the VSMT download? I went to the Virtual Server 2005
Migration Toolkit web page:

There is not a download link there but there is a Register for VSMT link

Does anyone know if  hypervisor will support Itanium ?

Ive been attempting to download the Migration Toolkit for VS2005 for
the past week. My understanding was that this is a free tool. The only
place I can find it hosted is the Microsoft website, however everytime

Yesterday I copied a Vista Ultimate RTM virtual hard drive to do some
more testing.  I had previously installed Vista on that VM, then
activated it, then installed the Vista Beta 2 VM Additions, then had
to re-activate again.  Now today when I boot this VM, I am told that

1. i am using virtual server 2005 r2 on winxp sp2. everthing is running fine
except that the guest OS runs in breaking mode. for example, the scroll of a
pdf file is not smooth, it cuts and breaks. if i move a mouse, it moves
after a second. its kind of breaking.

When I reboot the physical server that hosts Virtual Server 2005 R2 the
Virtual Server service fails to start.  When I attempt to restart the service
the error message "Could not start the Virtual Server service on Local
Computer" "Error 1075 the dependency service does not exist ...

I have no problem connecting he host, but the connection fails from the guest.
